Concussions have become a huge concern in contact sports in recent years. My cousin Ryan (who runs SportsSuperStation.com) suffered multiple concussions in Hockey which had some scary lasting effects, and forced him to quit sports for a while. Shockbox helmet sensors for concussion management were recently featured on CBC's Dragons' Den. They've got a solid demo video now too.
