Few people will remember this, but this is not the First Time that Kygo and Ellie Goulding have actually worked together (see what we did there?). Well, kind of; in 2014 Kygo was just breaking onto the scene when he released a High For This (Remix) of Ellie Goulding’s 2012 cover of The Weeknd. Kygo’s come a long way since then and now he gets to work with Goulding on an original track. First Time is a follow up hit to another recent collaboration Kygo did with Selenia Gomez titled It Aint Me. The duo of last year’s beer pong anthem Pong Dance is back! This time Vigiland is taking over the repeat button on your Friday nights. Felix Jaehn is back with what is sure to be his first hit of 2016. Bonfire features ALMA in the song and video, she was a contestant on The Voice Finland 3 years ago and this year in June had a hit Karma (also worth a download). Now that she’s scored a feature on a Felix Jaehn track I’m sure we’ll be seeing her featured on several more hits in the future. We featured Felix last year for his 2015 hit Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) and if you’re looking for more he released Book Of Love later in 2015 as well.

David Guetta’s new video is for his upcoming album Listen Again out Nov 27. Listen Again is a re-release of his 2014 album Listen. The single is a remix of a track off his previous album that adds a rap verse from Fetty Wap, who’s hot right now after his chart-topper Trap Queen, and as before features Sia (who we last heard on Eminem’s Gut’s Over Fear single). The music video serves as the 2nd half of the story from Martin Garrix’s previous music video collaboration with Matisse & Sadko titled Dragon, which follows the antics of a take-no-crap roller rink girl. Martin Garrix first broke onto the music scene 2 years ago when he released his chart-topping single Animals at the age of just 17. Who’s up for a rave in the desert? David Guetta’s new music video featuring Nicki Minja and Afrojack seems to be a mix of Burning Man meets Mad Max, complete with a bunch of dune buggies and tribal dancers. If this collab between Guetta and Minaj feels familiar it’s be cause it’s their third major hit together (previously Turn Me On and Where Them Girls At). Despite the video just being released you’re likely very familiar with song from the radio; Guetta’s still releasing music videos off his 2014 album Listen (released November last year). German DJ Zedd releases the music video for his lead single from the upcoming 2nd studio album on Interscope Records titled True Colors. The single features Selena Gomez on the vocals. Interesting to see Disney famed Selena Gomez all grown up. One might wonder how she’d end up teaming up with Zedd but after leaving Disney’s Hollywood Records, Selena signed a deal with Interscope in December 2014. The single rocked to #1 on iTunes’ dance charts within just one hour of its release online.  The 70’s inspired music video focuses on Selena with her dancing in the center of a crowded dance floor. The French DJ and producer Martin Solveig returns from an almost 2 year hiatus since his 2013 hit Hey Now when he teamed up with The Cataracs. This time he’s working with miami EDM duo GTA for a new sound. The unique combination of the trumpet heavy bassline and soft vocals makes for a beat that’s intoxicating (sorry I had to). If you haven’t already check out (and even if you have you should revisit) his 2012 single The Night Out, previously to that he had Big in Japan, Ready To Go, and in 2010 his breakout single (and my favorite music video from him) Hello. The Motion Project combines the collective talents of musicians, dancers, programmers, designers and animators to create an amazing visual instrument. It uses the power of the Kinect to capture movement and translate it into music which is performed live and projected on a huge wall.

The Motion Project was a collaboration between a lot of clever creative people working together to create a machine that turns motion into music. The client of the project, Frucor (makers of V energy drink), have a history of creating incredible and over the top projects and events. Together with their agency Colenso BBDO, they kitted-out a warehouse space for this project to grow in and gathered together a group of talented people from a number of creative fields to collaborate together.
