Seems like there's been a lot of DBZ related videos lately, with Stop Motion video and Live Action Trailer, now this.

The animation is all done by one guy Mellivelli on youtube. Episode length is 14:28 which is nearly as long as a regular episode of DBZ. Pretty impressive, I can imagine how much of free time a single episode would take by yourself, then getting people for voices.

I grew up watching the cartoon Dragon Ball Z, so seeing this is pretty damn cool. Taiwanese animator John Huang has made two stop motion animations using action figures. The first video took him 1 month of production and nearly 5000 pictures. The second episode took him 59 days more than 6000 pictures. That's one hell of a project.

Well, here's a showdown I never thought I'd see - Dragon Ball Z's Goku vs DC's Superman. Two of the ultimate heroes from completely different fictional universes. The guys over at screwattack decided to celebrate the 25th episode of their series Death Battle! with the "ultimate answer to the ultimate question! Two alien saviors battle to the death! One will win. One will die." It's pretty cool, halfway through they actually have a cgi animation where they fight it out, not bad. There's an interesting conversation about this matchup over on reddit.
