HP released a new video showing off its upcoming "iPad killer"--the Slate tablet PC. The video is reminiscent of Verizon's "Droid Does" campaign highlighting all of the capabilities of the Android-based Droid that the Apple iPhone can't deliver. In a mere 30 seconds HP manages to demonstrate that its tablet is--in a nutshell--everything Apple's iPad isn't.

Wow, didn’t think this would ship so soon, been looking forward to hear some reviews of this. A lot of people called this the Kindle killer; mainly for that sweet 3.5″ android-based touchscreen built in. Basically gives you a mini-netbook in your e-reader.

Who’s gonna buy this over something like say the iPad? Someone who really wants an e-reader (let’s be honest, the iPad’s a tablet PC) and wants an e-ink display.

Shenzhen Million-E Culture Industrial Co. Ltd. is showing a new e-reader based on e-ink with built-in 3G, WiFi and even with resistive touch screens at the CeBIT 2010 consumer electronics show in Hannover, Germany. That's some serious power saved through e-ink, that's what's going to be the driving power behind these e-readers.
