Polygon had the chance to sit down with some seasoned Bungie veterans as well as some of the new talent they brought on for their upcoming game.

Up till now halo, like most FPS's, has been 2 parts, the campaign and the multiplayer, but with Halo 4 a new option has emerged; Spartan Ops. Spartan Ops is an additional, episode based, campaign for you to play solo or with your friends, outside of the main campaign that follows Master Chief. In preparation for the launch of Halo 4, Microsoft funded a phenomenal 5 part web-series on Machinima Prime which tells a story taking fans back to the beginning of the human and Covenant war, and leading into the events of Halo 4. It was incredibly well done - I ended up watching all 5 parts back-to-back.

Thomas Lasky came to Corbulo Academy of Military Science with his mother and brother's impressive military careers hanging over his head. Haunted by ghosts from his past, he has serious doubts about the war he's expected to fight. As fellow cadet Chyler Silva tries to help him find his place at the academy, tensions with other squad members approach the breaking point.

Halo 4 live-action CGI trailer produced by David Fincher and directed by Tim Miller (the same guys who did the other amazing Halo live-action trailers like Forward Unto Dawn, Deliver Hope, and We Are ODST. I'll admit I didn't play Reach much, but I'm starting to get excited for another Halo game.

Master Chief's mind is violated by a powerful new enemy, who in searching for Chief's weaknesses, finds the source of his strength.

I'd say this is the closest thing we'll be getting to a halo movie (at least for a while), and I'm fine with that, this looks pretty awesome.

The full-length, live action trailer for "Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn", the live-action prelude to Halo 4. "Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn" digital series will takes fans back to the terrifying beginning of the Human/Covenant war, when the Master Chief inspired a young cadet who would eventually become a leader aboard the UNSC's greatest vessel: the UNSC Infinity. Like several of the previous Halo game launches, Microsoft has released an intense cinematic real-life trailer at e3 2012 for the upcoming Halo 4 video game. They also showed off a campaign video with a new enemy, and a multiplayer video showing off some of the new features such as War Games and Spartan Ops (with weekly tv-like episodes).

Headhunters is a short story two SPARTAN-IIIs supersoldiers who are part of a specialist top-secret team codenamed "Headhunters". Headhunters was written by Jonathan Goff, and animated MoreFrames studios. Here's Part 2 and Part 3.

Corridor Digital released a kick ass new video which includes characters from multiple game franchises including Battlefield, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Halo, Mass Effect and more in one amazing video of different instakills, each one topping the last.

This isn't the first time that Corridor Digital has spoofed a gaming franchise in one of their videos. They've previously spoofed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Battlefield, Rocksmith and more. Check other great videos they did like Shock Troopers and Dubstep Guns.

Halo: Helljumper is an unofficial web series (made by fans) based on Microsoft's video game franchise, Halo. Adapted from the short story, "Dirt," By Tobias S. Buckell, it tells the story of a few human ODSTs as they fight through 27 years of brutal war with the Covenant. They evolve from a rag tag group of recruits in the UNSC to being cold battle hardened veterans that are shadows of their former selves. Halo: Helljumper - Episode 2 is out now.

I wasn't planning on buying Halo Anniversary, but now that I know all the updates they're doing to campaign and including updated multi-player maps from game 1 & 2, I probably will. Check out the sneak peek videos at 4 minute mark, and 20 minute mark.

Halo 4 is the next blockbuster installment in the iconic franchise that's shaped entertainment history and defined a decade of gaming. Set in the aftermath of Halo 3, the Master Chief returns to confront his own destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the universe. Halo 4 is the start of a new trilogy that begins with its release in 2012.

You are invited to bear witness to the heroism of Noble Team in the debut of the Halo: Reach live-action short, "Deliver Hope."

At E3, Bungie gave a sneak peak at Halo: Reach, the final game being published by Bungie for the seminal sci-fi gaming franchise. The demo revealed a campaign mission roughly midway through Halo: Reach's prequel story, which sets up the events of the original trilogy. The game is out on September 14.

The Halo: Reach multiplayer beta madness doesnt drop into Xbox LIVE until May 3rd, 2010, but youre gonna need to be up to speed before you get your boots in the mud. Check out the world premiere footage of the Reachs multiplayer Alpha in action and get a glimpse at whats on tap for the upcoming public Beta. You can take it for a test spin yourself in May using your copy of Halo 3: ODST to gain access.

This video documentary gives you a closer look at Halo Reach, the upcoming game that puts players into Noble Team, tasked with defending the planet Reach. This documentary about the work going into the new game really gets your heart pumping for more Halo. It discusses how it’s rebuilding the engine from the ground up, putting millions more polygons into the models, and so forth.
