Pour a glass of water and watch it turn to ice instantly! This step-by-step tutorial will show you everything you need to know about Instant Ice.

To get this effect, I put multiple unopened bottles of PUREFLO bottled water in the freezer for 2 hours and 45 minutes exactly. The purified water gets supercooled, and when it touches an ice crystal, it turns instantly to ice. It will also do this if the bottle is hit hard enough. This was a really fun project, and one of my favorites because it's safe, awe inspiring, and anyone can do it.
