The second season of the Mortal Kombat: Legacy webseries (check out season 1 here) is out now. Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the 10-episode series is hosted by Machinima, who has made the entire season available at once.

Among the show's cast is Ian Anthony Dale, who reprises his role as Scorpion from the first season, and Cary Tagawa returning as Shang Tsung. Tagawa played Shang Tsung in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film so it's pretty cool to see him in it. Other actors include Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) as Kuai Liang and Brian Tee (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift) as Liu Kang.

Dragonball Absalon - Fan-made Mini Series http://mitchmckenna.com/post/12751/dragonball-absalon-episode-1

Seems like there's been a lot of DBZ related videos lately, with Stop Motion video and Live Action Trailer, now this.

The animation is all done by one guy Mellivelli on youtube. Episode length is 14:28 which is nearly as long as a regular episode of DBZ. Pretty impressive, I can imagine how much of free time a single episode would take by yourself, then getting people for voices.

On June 8, 2010, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth surfaced on YouTube amid confusion about its origins and intentions. The director Kevin Tancharoen said he'd been thinking about a Mortal Kombat reboot for some time, so he wrote and directed the film over a weekend without a studio's involvement. With the help from friends and colleagues, he did it with only a $7,500 budget. It accidentally got leaked but received an overwhelming positive reception from fans. Tancharoen met with Warner Bros. executives, who agreed to fund a web series based titled Mortal Kombat Legacy. Episode 1 is below, the entire series can be found on the youtube channel.
