Plot: It’s the typical online story. Boy meets girl on FaceBook, they start talking on the phone, boy and girl start calling each other baby, boy wants to meet girl, you know the drill. However, the whole thing takes a very Alfred Hitchcock turn towards the end.

The following trailer for the DC Universe Online video game was released at Comic-Con and it looks EPIC. The 3-D animation is fantastic and the directing of this six-minute trailer was executed exceptionally well. If the guys who made this made a DC Universe movie, I'd buy a ticket.

Some of the less know characters I had to look up are Giganta at the start, Deathstroke who reminds me of Deadpool, and the one I found most interesting was Black Adam (Shazam). Love the look of the new Joker and Cyborg. Anyone know why Superman's eyes are red?

Clay Shirky looks at Cognitive Surplus; the shared, online work we do with our spare brain cycles. While we're busy editing Wikipedia, posting to Ushahidi (and yes, making LOLcats), we're building a better, more cooperative world. Shirky talks about how we're at "the end of coach potato era"; there are "over a trillion hours of free time a year" and we can use it make the world a better place.

A turn-based strategy & real-time tactics video game released for PC, developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega. Napoleon was released on 23 February 2010. The game is the sixth stand-alone instalment in the Total War series, and focuses on the politics and major military campaigns at the beginning of the 19th century. Players assume the role of Napoleon Bonaparte, or one of his major rivals, on a turn-based campaign map and engage in the subsequent battles in real-time. You can see what the gameplay is like here
