When Christian Schallert isn't cooking, dressing, sleeping or eating, his 24 square meter (258 square feet) apartment looks like an empty cube. To use a piece of furniture, he has to build it.

Located in Barcelona's hip Born district, the tiny apartment is a remodeled pigeon loft. Christian says its design was inspired by the space-saving furniture aboard boats, as well as the clean lines of a small Japanese home. Read the whole story on faircompanies.com (via flapic.amplify.com).

New Flip Camcorder Line Gets Image Stabilization http://mitchmckenna.com/post/8316/introducing-the-new-flip-minohd-line

I love my Mino HD; how small it is, I can toss it in my pocket and have a HD cam anywhere I go. One of my biggest gripes about my Mino is the lack of stabilization so it's nice to see the new line of Flips include it built-in. I found a video of someone testing out the difference here.

They've doubled the record time from 1 hour to 2 hours, and it now records at 60 fps (wow). A surprising upgrade instead of going to 1080p but awesome none the less.
