You can pick from 4 open source jQuery sliders when creating your slides; Nivo Slider, Flex Slider 2, Coin Slider and Responsive Slides. Slideshows are stored as a custom post type, slides are stored as media files and the relation between the two is stored as taxonomy data. You can create unlimited slideshows with unlimited number of slides.

Look out animoto, you've got a new competitor on the block. If you looking for an impressive free 60 second slideshow video from your videos I recommend this one over Animoto. The advantage over Animoto is it gives you a HD video for free (Animoto charges $$ for HD). Animoto on the other hand has more impressive effects and incorporation of video, so go with them if your looking to pay for a longer video.
