15,000 Candle-lit Balloons - Celebrating Solstice in Poland

On June 21st, the shortest night of the year in the city of Poznan, Poland, residents and visitors helped illuminate the night sky in celebration of the summer solstice. In the polish city it is known as St. john's night. This year broke a new world record for the largest launch of paper lanterns. Each attendee wrote their wishes on their lantern, allowing them to float away with the collection of glowing dots.
