I have no idea how DC Universe Online plays, but I do know this, you gotta see this new cinematic from the game (remember how awesome the first one was? This one isn't quite as amazing, but it's pretty damn cool). I don't know how this cinematic works into anything, seeing as the game was released last month, but I hear they are doing monthly updates, so maybe this is to ramp up sales? But I do know you will freak out once you realize who the dude at the monitor is. Just watch it, seriously.

Hedgewars is a free open-source game based on the Worms series. Hedgewars is cross-platform and runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, iPad, and iPhone (now that's just amazing)! Where this style game gets really fun is multiplayer. You can play against an AI team, against another player on the same computer, or online. Growing up I remember playing hours after hours of rounds of Worms with @PatrickMcKenna. That I can play cross-platform, online, on an actively developed game, is awesome.

Developed exclusively for Xbox 360 by acclaimed studio Bungie, "Halo: Reach" drops players back into the iconic universe they love so they can experience the birth of the "Halo" legend.

The heroes of the Capcom and Marvel universes are at it again! Check out the MVC 3 trailer shown at E3 2010 which shows Dante and Deadpool in action.

At E3, Bungie gave a sneak peak at Halo: Reach, the final game being published by Bungie for the seminal sci-fi gaming franchise. The demo revealed a campaign mission roughly midway through Halo: Reach's prequel story, which sets up the events of the original trilogy. The game is out on September 14.

It’s back! Gears of War 3 was announced last night. Head programmer Cliff Bleszinski appeared on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show last night and revealed it’s launch. This is the 3rd title in a series of very popular bloody FPS games. Cliff mentioned new features and weapons such as a double barrel shotgun, new monsters that mutate as you fight them and finally there will be female soldiers in the game.

Even though the "turning into fighter jets" bit is out in favor of turning into space tanks and other fictional vehicles, the other main linchpin of the Transformers franchise is fully intact: robots fighting constantly.

A role-playing game in development by Snowblind Studios. It is based on the events taking place in the northern regions of Middle-earth in the background of the main story of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and movies. Players will take control of a hero of the war, and will be able to play through the game alone or cooperatively with other players. The game is scheduled for release in NA in 2011.

A turn-based strategy & real-time tactics video game released for PC, developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega. Napoleon was released on 23 February 2010. The game is the sixth stand-alone instalment in the Total War series, and focuses on the politics and major military campaigns at the beginning of the 19th century. Players assume the role of Napoleon Bonaparte, or one of his major rivals, on a turn-based campaign map and engage in the subsequent battles in real-time. You can see what the gameplay is like here

Guild creator and star Felicia Day wrote the lyrics to the song and Jed Whedon composed the music and directed the video. While originally available on XBox Live as a free download as part of the company’s distribution deal with the web series, the video really took off once set free for embedding via YouTube. Season 3 of The Guild premieres August 25th on MSN, XBox and Zune.
