A comment on the idea "LinkedIn Should Drop The #in From A Status Update When Syncing With Twitter" in LinkedIn

Thanks for the quick reply Adam (it says a lot about Linkedin's customer service)! Those are two good points to keep the #in, however it would be nice to have the option to turn it off much like the many applications that sync your twitter status to Facebook allow the option to remove #fb — Mitchell McKenna 4 minutes
