Very interesting post on social-network overflow! I've been thinking a lot about this myself. I also quickly disabled Friendfeed and Twitter imports in Buzz when I saw what a mess they can create. I think it's important to display posts in the format they are optimized for. For example, Buzz supports rich posts with lots of text and images and I think it's a little disappointing when I see a 140 character tweet in my buzz stream. If I feel the need to cross-post something such as to Twitter AND Buzz, I use the bookmarklets and customize each post for their individual service.
